Ministry Areas at HHBC
The focus of ministry at HHBC is on the people. Churches are made of people, NOT bricks! As with most churches. we've found it best to minister to people by their family life stage, sometimes called age-grouping.
At Harrison Hills we use a Team approach to ministry. Teams are ministry results oriented and focus on problem solving or mission accomplishment. Teams are composed of those people already serving in or those that have a heart for that ministry area and led by a layperson. Our staff are responsible to shepherd each team. In summary, our staff is responsible for taking care of our ministries, most of which are led by laypeople. Our few committees conduct administrative or "church business" support tasks.
Family Ministries
At Harrison Hills we recognize that the traditional family is the key to success; in life, in our community, and in our church. Our deacons are the primary instrument we use to minister to our families. We also ensure that we have other ministry programs available for every member of every family.
