Our Leadership

The Leadership of Harrison Hills Baptist Church

Senior Pastor

Pastor Rick Griffin

I’m Pastor Rick Griffin (email). The Lord has given me the privilege of being the pastor at Harrison Hills. Since graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I met and married my wife Debbie, my life on mission with God has been an adventure. I’ve started two churches and pastored in California, Arkansas, and Texas.  Debbie and I have five children and spending time with my family is one of my favorite things to do.

I desire that the believers at Harrison Hills love Jesus and love others deeply.  My passion is to help you know Christ through the Bible in such a way that transforms your life. That’s a lifelong process for us all!   As we live life together with God’s people in his church, we worship together, learn together, and pray together. We then impact Lanesville and the world by caring for others and sharing the hope found in the gospel. We grow and go, because Christ is worthy.

Technology Coordinator

Dave Leffler

I'm glad to have been a part of Harrison Hills since October 2001. I've served in various ministries and positions since early 2002 such as providing administrative and managerial assistance to the pastor; a position which eventually evolved into the Technology Coordinator position I serve in today. I also lead and teach a small group and assist the worship ministry.

I was born and grew up in the Lanesville area where I attended Lanesville Community Schools graduating in 1978. I joined the US Air Force upon graduation, spending almost 24 years serving my country as an air defense radar technician. In 1993 I married Sherri, whom I met while she was also serving in the Air Force, but she originally hails from Northern Mississippi. We have four daughters, Kelly, Marianne, Haley, and Hannah and six grandchildren. I retired from the Air Force in October 2001 and moved back to my hometown of Lanesville, where most of my extended family still lives.

I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, fully trusting Him in the fall of 1983, at the age of 23.  I was ordained as a deacon in 1994 and am also an active Gideon.  I spend much of my free time writing computer programs and working on the family farm, which sounds like work but I find relaxing.
